Is Stephanie Brown an assassination target?
Summary of Stephness: Lt. Jason Bard and Vicki Vale meet at a shot-up phone booth, where Bard says that it was an assassination attempt against someone who knew too much, but that the attempt failed. The story then flashes back to two days earlier, when Steph is desperately calling her mother, who is in turn pestering the Cluemaster to take care of their daughter. Gunmen shoot up the phone booth on Cluemaster's orders, but Steph rolls to safety after being pushed aside by an impatient man who wants to use the phone booth.
